Specialist Commercial Gas Supply Services

Thameside Mechanical Services are qualified, experienced and capable of providing the full range of incoming gas supply specialist services including: 

• The turnkey design, fabrication and installation of new incoming gas supply pipe work, both above and below ground (in all suitable materials including copper, threaded or welded carbon steel and fusion welded MDPE).
• Gas 'enabling' works for construction work projects; modifications, diversions, re-routing and extensions of existing gas supplies.
• 'Gas to air' evacuation purging of all types and sizes of existing gas installations (for decommissioning/demolition or in preparation for pipework alterations), using specialist gas purging equipment and calibrated gas detection equipment.
• 'Air to gas' commissioning of all types and sizes of new gas pipework (or of modified existing gas installations), using specialist gas purging equipment and calibrated gas detection equipment.
• Strength and soundness testing of gas pipework installations.
• The compilation of safe working technical method statements in preparation of proposed gas pipe work projects ('RAMS').
• The provision of all necessary compliance paperwork including CP ... certification.
• All work carried out in strict accordance with IGEM requirements and guidelines by commercial gas operatives who hold the relevant specialist gas 'ACS' accreditations including TPCP1 & ICPN1.
